VETangram is a port of the Tangram client from the book 'Inside COM' by Dale Rogerson, Microsoft Press

Requirements

• Visual Eiffel 2.5 (including pro-libs)
• Display Machine 2.5
• Tangram example from the book 'Inside COM' properly installed.

Description

The files in directory TANGRAM were generated using co2e.

Do not precompile cluster ECOM!!! Visual Eiffel 2.5 contains a bug and you will get 'unresolved symbols' when linking VETangram and having cluster ECOM precompiled. This bug in Visual Eiffel will be fixed in its next release.

Description and source will soon be enhanced! In the meantime have a look at the source for further details.

History

V1.2:

• If option 'Local Server' is checked the local server (EXE) will be used instead of an inproc server (DLL).
• Creation of tangram pieces was rewritten using arrays.

• Feature 'releaseInterfaces' implemented.

• First public version.
